The Opportunity
This is a great Finance Business Partner role for someone who wants more than just reporting. You’ll embed yourself within the organisaition, working closely with operational leaders to improve visibility, challenge thinking and drive better financial outcomes. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll act as the link between finance and operations, ensuring accuracy, insight and clarity across planning, reporting and decision making. You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, while providing practical, commercially focused support to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes across your portfolio 
• Deliver accurate month end reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights
• Partner with operational stakeholders to support decision making and improve financial outcomes 
• Analyse operational activity and identify risks, trends and opportunities 
• Build financial models to support business cases, initiatives and investment decisions
• Provide timely, clear and actionable financial insights to management 
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems and processes
• Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams 

The Candidate
You’re a hands on, commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business and adding value beyond the numbers.
You’re confident engaging stakeholders, comfortable working in a complex environment, and able to translate financial data into clear, practical insights.

This is a great role for an experienced Financial or Management Accounting wanting to step into a true Business Partner position, my client is also open to a first mover out of a chartered accounting environment. 

You will have:

• Degree qualified in Accounting/Commerce with CA/CPA (or working towards)
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting and financial analysis 
• Strong modelling and analytical capability, with the ability to influence outcomes 
• Proven ability to build relationships and manage competing priorities 
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills
