Talent Map is committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information is managed in accordance with thePrivacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles

WHAT INFORMATION DOES TALENT MAP COLLECT?

Personal information refers to data that identifies an individual and is reasonably necessary for the proper
performance of our functions and activities as a specialist recruitment agency.
The following is the type of information that Talent Map collects and holds:
▪ General contact and identification details, including your name, address, email address, and phone number.
▪ Residency information, including visa and passport details.
▪ Details of your academic qualifications, memberships, and certifications.
▪ Information about your work history, including current and previous positions and employers.
▪ An overview of your skills and professional experience.
▪ Work preferences and career objectives.
▪ Information about your current compensation and salary expectations.
▪ Results from assessments you have undertaken.
▪ Links to or information from your social and professional profiles.
▪ Contact information and details of your professional references.
▪ Any information contained in your CV, if submitted.
▪ Information you have submitted via online forms, emails, job alerts, CV website submissions, timesheets via our
portal, or other online enquiries through our website or email lists.

HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION COLLECTED?

Personal information is collected directly from you when you fill out and submit one of our application forms, when you attend a face-to-face interview in our offices or participate in a video or telephone interview. On other occasions, Talent Map collects your personal information from other sources such as referees and other information services providers, such as LinkedIn or Seek.

PURPOSES

Talent Map collects, holds and discloses your personal information for the following purposes:
▪ Facilitating relevant processes to assist you with work placement.
▪ Recruitment functions.
▪ Responding to your enquiries.
▪ Keeping you informed of new developments that may be of interest to you.
▪ Marketing purposes.
▪ Complying with requests from legal or regulatory bodies.
Talent Map may also seek your consent to collect, hold, and disclose your information for any other purpose not listed.

DISCLOSURES

Talent Map will disclose your personal information for the purposes for which it is primarily held or for a related lawful purpose. This may include disclosing your personal information to third parties engaged to perform administrative or other services on behalf of Talent Map or the Client. All such disclosures are made on a confidential basis to ensure your information is protected.

STORING PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information is held on our Candidate Record Management system, JobAdder, and strict security measures are in place to protect your information from misuse, interference and loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Data within JobAdder is encrypted to ensure protection of your personal information.

ACCESSING INFORMATION

You can gain access to your personal information as required by law. All requests for access to personal information will be treated seriously, dealt with promptly and in a confidential manner. Talent Map aim to acknowledge access and correction requests within thirty (30) days of your request.

RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

Candidates have the right to request the deletion and cessation of processing of their personal data by Talent Map. To do so, please contact Talent Map's Privacy Officer via the email admin@talentmapgroup.com.au. You may need to verify your identity and provide more information regarding your request. Where permitted by law, Talent Map may refuse your request and will provide reasons for such refusal.

Upon receipt of a valid request, Talent Map will identify all locations where the candidate's information is stored (e.g., candidate databases and spreadsheets) and will delete the information within one month. Please note that if the deletion request involves information also related to our clients or employment, we may not be able to fulfill the request entirely.

If you have an account with Talent Map, you can view and update your personal information by logging into your account. Additionally, you may request that we stop using your information and cease contacting you. To unsubscribe from newsletters or updates, please use the "unsubscribe" option included in the email or other material. Talent Map reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for processing access and update requests.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

There are a number of measures used to keep candidate information secure:
▪ Personal information is stored in secured offices within a computerised database that requires login credentials for access.
▪ Access to the database is restricted to authorised personnel who require it for their roles.
▪ All staff and third-party suppliers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements concerning company and customer information.
▪ Visitors to our premises are always accompanied by a staff member for the duration of their visit.
▪ Passwords are changed frequently to maintain security.
▪ Hard copy information is disposed of using secure bins to ensure proper destruction.
▪ A mandatory password policy is enforced for laptops, mobile phones, and portable storage devices.

COMPLAINTS

If you believe that Talent Map has interfered with your privacy, you have the right to complain about the handling of your personal information. Please submit your complaint to us in writing via email at admin@talentmapgroup.com.au in the first instance. Talent Map takes all complaints seriously and will address your concerns promptly.
