The Role Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you’ll act as a trusted advisor across the business, partnering with Executive and operational stakeholders to improve visibility, performance and decision making. This is a commercially focused role with strong leadership exposure, combining technical excellence with real business influence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive performance and informed decision making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across key portfolios
- Deliver high quality financial modelling to support strategic initiatives
- Provide clear, actionable insights from complex financial and operational data
- Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive outcomes
- Own month end reporting and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results
- Improve systems, reporting and processes to lift capability and efficiency
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing business partnering team
The Candidate You’re a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in complex environments and knows how to influence beyond the numbers.
You bring strong technical capability, but more importantly, the credibility and confidence to partner at a senior level and challenge thinking.
You will have:
- CA/CPA qualification with a strong foundation in finance
- Proven experience in a senior business partnering or commercial finance role
- The ability to translate data into insight and drive action
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with Executive level exposure
- A proactive, solutions focused mindset and leadership capability
- Ideally have experience in large, complex or regulated environments
About the Company Our client is a large, complex organisation delivering essential services across the Geelong region. Operating at significant scale, the organisation spans multiple service lines and sites, with a strong focus on quality, operational performance and continuous improvement.
Please note: This role is initially starting as a 12 month fixed term contract. My client has a strong track record of making contractors permanent, however this cannot be guaranteed from the outset.
